First of all, take a deep breath and slow down for a minute… I mean it! Stop that pacing around. It is giving me a headache and I just know it isn’t doing a lick of good for you… so stop and reassess…

So you broke up with your ex. Temper and frustration was most likely involved. But just hold on a minute here…

This can be good for you to be apart… I call it the cooling off period. And the most effective way to use it is to keep your communication to a minimum.

And by a minimum… I mean don’t constantly email your ex. Don’t constantly call your ex. And definitely… don’t follow your ex!

What you are going to do here is be cool. “Be fine with the breakup.” And yes, I’m not an idiot… you are hurting really bad inside. But there is a method to my madness you see…

When you act like the breakup is “Is OK with you,” you are showing your ex that you have accepted the breakup and will move on.

And of course that isn’t what you want but there is a little human psychology in play here. You see, we tend to want what we can’t have and don’t want what we can have!

And we definitely don’t want someone who is needy, depressed or emotional. So that is why you need to be cool. Show your ex that you are mature about the situation.
